Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 22, 2026
Existential LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Existential homelab platform and the documentation website at existential.company.
The Short Version
Existential itself collects no data from your self-hosted instance. Nothing you do inside your homelab — automations, files, messages, or any other activity — is sent to Existential LLC servers.
What We Collect on This Website
The existential.company documentation website uses standard, anonymized site analytics (page views, referrers, browser type) to help us understand how people use the docs. This data is aggregated and not linked to any individual.
We do not:
- Use advertising trackers or sell data to third parties
- Collect names, email addresses, or account information from site visitors
- Set persistent tracking cookies
Your Self-Hosted Instance
Existential is self-hosted software. Your instance runs entirely on your own infrastructure. We have no access to:
- Your data, files, or automations
- Your configuration or secrets
- Any activity within your homelab
Third-Party Services
If you use third-party integrations (e.g. Gmail, Google Calendar, cloud storage), those services are governed by their own privacy policies. Existential LLC is not a party to those data relationships.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
